Modu Tech becomes an FSC-certified supplier
with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
Modu-Tech is committed to conducting business in a manner that conserves our natural resources, promotes responsible forestry and provides our customers with the quality and value that they require. In pursuit of these objectives, Modu-Tech has passed the rigorous process of becoming an FSC Chain-of-Custody certified supplier. We can now provide FSC-certified lumber packages and are one of only a handful of manufacturers certified to provide manufactured trusses and wall panels as FSC-certified.
What does this mean to our valued customers? By capturing the higher cost basis for these FSC-certified manufactured assemblies (not just the wood), projects are able to claim a greater dollar amount towards their certified wood goals.
Camp Puh'tok and Modu Tech
Camp Puh'tok is a boy's and girls camp located on an 80-acre campus in Monkton MD. Modu Tech's involvement with Camp Puh'tok began in 1996 when we started donating excess building materials for the camp. Since that time we have assisted in the construction of the 5 boy's cabins, the securing of a $1,000,000.00 grant form the Weinberg foundation and most recently the building of the pool complex and hay barn structure.
